Anta Gas Power Station is situated in Baran District of Rajasthan. This gas based power plant started power generation in 1989. The plant is designed to generate about 413 MW of power from its four units. Anta Thermal Power Station uses gas from South Basin Gas field and water from Kota Right Main Canal.
