Annai Mathammal Sheela Engineering College is an ISO 9000:2001 certified Christian minority institution. Recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu, it offers 4 year full time courses leading to Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Technology.
The college has modern laboratories, class rooms, computer centers, library, workshops, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, hostels, canteen facilities, and transportation facilities. The curriculum involves co-curricular activities aimed to develop the skills of the students. The college is located at Erumapatty which is about 15 km from Namakkal town.
