Ankaleshwar




The city of oil of western India, Ankaleshwar is a taluk headquarters town in the Bharuch District of Gujarat. It is around 79 km from Vadodara. This town is a well-known pilgrim center in Gujarat. It has four Digamabar Jain temples - Chintamani Parsvanath Temple, Neminath Mandir, Adinath Mandir and Mahavir Swami Mandir.

Gujarati, Hindi and English are the languages spoken. The best time to visit this place is from October to May.

Ankleshwar Junction Railway Station, on the rail route between Surat and Vadodara, is the nearest railway station. Vadodara Airport serves this area.
