Anjaneri is a place of religious and tourist interest in Nasik District of Maharashtra. It lies on the Nasik-Trimbakeshwar road and is around 20 km west of Nasik.
Guarded by rocky mountains, Anjaneri is closely associated with Hindu mythology and is considered to be the birth place of Lord Hanuman. Earlier this was a Jain settlement and the fact is confirmed by the Jain temples that dots the landscape. Indian Institute of Research in Numismatic Studies is located nearby.
Anjaneri is also an ideal site for rock climbing.
