Aniyanka Bhimeswara Temple




Aniyanka Bhimeswara Temple is a delightful shrine situated at Srimukhalingam, about 48 km north of Srikakulam, in Andhra Pradesh. The temple is built in typical Orissa style of architecture.

Aniyanka Bhimeswara Temple was built during the period of King Aniyanka Bhima (979-1014 CE), a little later than the Sri Mukhalingeswara Temple. The devakoshtas here bear images of Lord Brahma,Narasimha and Lord Dakshinamurthy.

Srikakulam Road Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
