Anini




Anini, the land of mist and fog, is the headquarters of the Dibang Valley District of Arunachal Pradesh.

Strategically situated on the Chinese border, about 8000 ft above the sea level, this forested and isolated region is known as hidden paradise and is noted for its beauty and panoramic views of the Himalayas. The place is inhibited by the Idu Mishmias, a sub group of the Mishmi tribe. Hunli town and tribal villages like New Anaya, Ranli, Arruju and Angulin are on the way to Anini.

The nearest airport is Tezu Airport. Tinsukia Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
