Angira Ashram is situated at Ankui village, near
Bithur, in
Kanpur Nagar District of
Uttar Pradesh.
This spot gained prominence when Maharishi Angira, one of the Saptarshis, chose it for his penance.
Jagannath Temple, which enshrines the wooden idol of Lord Jagannath (incarnation of Lord Vishnu), is within the Ashram.
