Andher is a small hamlet in
Raisen District,
Madhya Pradesh. It is around 8 km south-east of Satdhara which holds some of the ancient well-preserved Buddhist stupas. Andher holds three small but well-preserved stupas of the 2nd century BC. These stupas, discovered in the year 1851, hold some of the relics of the Buddhist Tirthankars.
Andher is an important places situated near Sonari, 10 km south-west of Sanchi. Bhopal Airport is the nearest airport, around 46 km from Sanchi.
