Andal

Andal is a taluk headquarters and a major town in Bardhaman District. It lies on the National Highway 2 between Raniganj and Durgapur. Andal is around 20 km north-west of Durgapur.

Sher Afghan Garh, a huge lake and Pandalnath Temple are the main attractions in the region.

Andal Junction Railway Station managed by the Eastern Railways is a prominent railhead in the region. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is the nearest airport.
