Anakkulangara Devi Temple




Anakkulangara Devi Temple is located 2 km west of Palai in Kottayam District. The temple is dedicated to the Paradevatha of Tamil Chetties, the original merchants of Palai.

This temple is on the banks of Meenachil River. Situated nearby to Kadappattoor Mahadev temple, this temple has also become the shelter place of Sabarimala pilgrims. It is a belief that those pilgrims, who visit the Mahadev temple, must also visit this temple.
