Amriteswara Temple




Amriteswara Temple, situated at Annigeri in Dharwad District of Karnataka, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The deity is known locally by the name Amriteswara. This temple exhibits the architectural style made popular by the Kalyani Chalukya rulers, which can be noted by the heavy use of intricate carvings on the pillars. There are a total of 76 pillars in this grand temple housing a multitude of sculptures.

The nearest railhead is the Hubli Junction Railway Station.
