Amra Ghata

Amra Ghata is a religious place at Amghata Village in Godrumadvipa, one among the nine islands in Navadvipa.

'Amra' in Sanskrit means mango tree. It is said that Chaitanya Mahaprabhu planted a mango seed here, which immediately grew into a tree full with ripened mangoes. A mango eating festival is conducted here by the devotees.

Bhaktivinoda’s house and Narasimha Palli are nearby.
