Ammavari Gudi Temple




Ammavari Gudi Temple is located in Vizianagaram District. The presiding deity of the temple is Paidi Thalli. The famous Sirimanu festival is celebrated here during which a big procession is taken out. The priest sits at the end of a long inclined wooden pole and the followers worship the deity by throwing bananas at him. The famous Puli Vesham dance is performed during the festival.
