Ammanagi is a historic village situated 10 km from
Hukkeri in
Karnataka. The name of the place is mentioned as Ammanika in the Bhoj plate of Kadamba Shantivarman. A beautiful Parashwanath Basti is located here. The damaged inscription inside the basti records a gift of land to a Goddess.
