Amber Lake, also known as Little Lonar, is located about a kilometer from the Lonar Crater in
Buldhana District. It is said to have been created by the impact of a smaller piece of meteor, which split from the main body. A Hanuman Temple, with an idol of
Hanuman in reclining pose, is located on its banks.
