Ambedara Mountain lies on the eastern plateau of the Karkai Donkar range in the Malshej Ghat region in
Pune District. This dome shaped peak is located at an altitude of about 4,684 ft. There is a temple which is about 4 km away from Ambedara village.
Nearest Railway Station is at Kalyan. One has to travel along Kalyan- Murbad- Tokavde- Savarne- Malshej to Pimpalgaon on the Malshej road.
