Ambalapara

A scenic hamlet, Ambalapara is in Palakkad District of Kerala. It is situated 10 km north of Ottapalam and 35 km north-west of Palakkad.

Prime attraction is the Aravakkattappan Shiva Temple, a highly revered shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lakkidi, Mannur, Mankara, Palappuram and Keralassery are the neighboring villages.

Regular bus services are available from Ambalapara to Ottapalam and Palakkad. Ottapalam Railway Station serves the village.
