Ambalam




Ambalam, formerly Naadaanta Academy of Dance and Music, is a centre for performing arts situated at Adyar, in Chennai. It was founded by T V Ramprasadh and Indira Kadambi in 1989. The center offer training to several dedicated students in India and abroad. Students from abroad visit the centre annually to learn the art in the Gurukul tradition. This helps the students to live with the teacher and undergo intensive training.

Besides, workshops and lecture demonstrations, a festival of music and dance called Parampara is conducted to promote highly talented and upcoming artists.
