Ambahta is a small town in Saharanpur District. It lies to the south-west of the district headquarters of Saharanpur, a small industrial town in the north-western part of Uttar Pradesh, famous for intricately designed wood-craft items. Ambahta, located on the state highway connecting Muzaffarnagar and Saharanpur, is easily accessible by road from any part of the state. Nearby places are Nakur, Islamnagar and Mahngi. Saharanpur Railway Station and Indira Gandhi International Airport are the nearest railway station and airport.
