Ambagarathur

Ambagarathur is the second largest village in Karaikal District. It is 14 km west of Karaikal, on the Karaikal-Peralam Road.

Badrakaliyamman Temple forms the major landmark. An annual festival, which attracts large number of devotees, is held here. It lasts for 12 days.

Tirunallar is nearby. The nearest access points are Karaikal Railway Station and Tiruchirapalli Airport.
