Ambadathu Malikayil Temple, a highly revered shrine of
Lord Ayyappa, is located at
Manjapra in
Ernakulam District. Manjapra is about 9 km from
Angamaly.
An important pilgrimage center in Kerala, Sabarimala is best visited along with the Ambadathu Malikayil Temple, which forms a part of the pilgrimage. Puja is offered on the whole Mandala season and the first Saturday of every Malayalam month. Shanidosh nivaran archana, gingelly lamp, ashtothararchana and shani muttu are the main offerings in the temple.
