Amaravana, also known as Jivaka's Mango Garden, is an interesting spot in
Rajgir of
Bihar. It is the site of an ancient dispensary managed by Jivaka, a royal physician during the reign of Ajatashatru and Bimbisara.
Buddha was once brought here to dress his wounds. Later, Jivaka converted the dispensary into a Vihara and gifted it to the Buddhist Sangha.
