Amar Nath and Kolahoi Peaks is located to the south of the
Kashmir valley in
Jammu and Kashmir. Towering over an altitude of 17,321 ft high and 17,800 ft respectively, the peaks springs from the
Pir Panjal range.
The wild graceful flowers, wild roses, poppies, anemones and hosts of other unknown floral varieties found on these ranges and the varying colors it display at different hours of the day offers an interesting sight. The lurid glow of the snow in the dawn, as the radiant rays’ falls on the peak of Kolahoi (Gwash Brari), is a scintillating spectacle.
