Aluruttimalai

Aluruttimalai, a Jain heritage center, is located near Nathamalai in the Pudukkottai District. It is also known as Ammachatram Hill. A natural cave on its northern slope has four polished stone berths. Two medium-size seated images of Teerthankars with triple umbrellas above the head are carved on the overhanging rock. The images are renowned as Tiruppallimalai-Alvar.
