Established in 1996 by the Alpha Educational Society, Alpha Arts and Science College is a private unaided, co-educational arts and science college approved by the Government of
Tamil Nadu. The college is situated at West C I T Nagar, near Saidpet, in
Chennai.
Affiliated to the University of Madras, the college offers 3 year full time under graduate courses in biochemistry, microbiology, computer science, electronics, commerce, information systems management, and bio-technology and post graduate courses in food science, general genetics, bio informatics, information technology, and biotechnology.
