Alauli




Alauli is a rural town close to the western border of Khagaria District in Bihar. The town, 14 km north of Khagaria, is largely dominated by tribal population.

Located close to the Bagmati River, the town remains surrounded by water six months a year.

Kabar Lake Bird Sanctuary, Kanwar Lake, Bhimbandh Wildlife Sanctuary, Munger Fort and Goenka Shivalaya are places to visit outside the town.

Patna airport serves this town. Khagaria Railway Station, on Samastipur-Katihar railway line, is the nearest railhead.
