Alang Gad is a hill fort in the
Igatpuri region. It is situated at an altitude of almost 5000 feet. The base village is Ghatghar and the fort is about a 6 hr trek from Ghatghar. One can visit the fort at any time except in the height of summer. There are also several caves and ancient structures here which attract many tourists.
