Akkanna Madanna Mahankali Temple




Akkanna Madanna Mahankali Temple is an ancient shrine situated at Haribowli in Hyderabad. The presiding deity of the temple is Goddess Kali.

This temple was built by Shri Akkanna, the Chief Minister, and Madanna, the Commander of Army, in the court of Hasan Tanisha of Golconda in the 17th century. The Bonalu festival and Mahankali Jathara are celebrated with gaiety and fanfare by the devotees.
