Akhi is a small settlement in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It lies to the west of
Leh. Akhi is encircled by
Saspul in the north, Nimu in the east, Sumdan in the south and Wanpah in the west.
The Indus River flows through this place.
Akhi can be approached from Leh and Skio. The nearest railhead is at Jammu.
