Ajari Mahavira Temple




Ajari Mahavir Temple is an ancient Jain teerth situated at Ajari, in Sirohi District of Rajasthan.

The temple enshrines a white-colored idol (nearly 36 inches high) of Lord Mahavir in the Padmasana posture. Besides, there are more than fifty Jain images preserved in this temple. Among these idols, the image of Saraswati Devi is very attractive. These ancient idols are said to belong to the period of King Samprati.

From Sirohi Bus Station, buses are avaialble to this temple. Ajari Mahavir Temple is situated 5 km from the Sirohi Road Railway Station.

Boarding and lodging facilities are available at Ajari.
