Ahraula is a small town in Azamgarh, a district in eastern Uttar Pradesh. It is situated to the west of Azamgarh, the district headquarters. Ahraula is 17 km south of Atraulia and 12 km east of Mahur.
Azamgarh Railway Station, served by North Eastern Railways, is the major nearest railway station. Varanasi Airport is the nearest airport.
