| Uttar PradeshAheripur
Located in Etawah District, Aheripur is a village roughly 32 km south-east of Etawah and 19 km from Bharthana. In its early days, it was a thriving market center for ghee, cotton, grain and cattle. Salimshahi Juta, a special type of shoes, manufactured here is still in fashion.
An ancient shrine dedicated to Bihari Ji (Lord Krishna) and a tank constructed by Marwari Brahmanas are its major landmarks. The remains of an ancient village site can be spotted about a km west of the present village.
Aheripur is on the road from Kalpi to Etawah. Bharthana Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
