Aharbal is a beautiful and fascinating place situated 45 km from Anantnag, in Jammu and Kashmir. It is famous for its apples and a scintillating waterfall - the Aharbal Fall. Its captivating beauty had caught the eye of the Mughals and it became a favored resting place for them, when they return after a long trip from Delhi to Kashmir.

Several picnic spots in the vicinity including Kungwattan and Guriwattan and many other enthralling walks of varying lengths over the hill sides draw scores of tourists.

Aharbal is the starting point for the trek to the Kaunsernag Lake.
