Ahar




Ahar is an ancient town situated in the north-east of Bulandshahr District. Legend holds that Ahar became an important place for the Pandavas after the decline of Hastinapur. Anupshahr, Jahangirabad and Khanpur are located nearby.

Bulandshahr is the nearest major town, which is well connected by road and rail to Aligarh (70 km), Ghaziabad (50 km) and Delhi (70 km). Indira Gandhi International Airport at New Delhi is the nearest airport.
