Agassaim

Agassaim is around 1 km north of Mercurim, in Tiswadi taluk of North Goa District. It is near the North Goa-South Goa border and is around 5 km from Goa Velha.

St Lawrence High School and St Lourenco Church are the major landmarks. The Church of Our Lady of Pilar and Pilar Monastery at Goa Velha are worth visiting. Goa Medical College is within a short distance.

Goa Airport is the nearest airport. Karmali Railway Station and Vasco da Gama Railway Station are the closest major railheads. Agassaim is linked with Panaji, the state capital, by National Highway 17.
