Located 17 km from
Machilipatnam in
Krishna District, Adurru is a place of archeological interest. A mound named Dubaraju Gudi was excavated which brought to light some remarkable structures including a mahastupa with a raised platform running all round the drum and ayaka platforms on cardinal sides.
The findings, at Adurru, also include shreds of jars, troughs, dishes and bowls of red and kaolin potteries.
