Adlaj is a small town situated in the south-western part of Gandhinagar District, Gujarat. In ancient times, it was known as Dandai Desh. The main attraction here is a step-well called Adlaj Vav which attracts a large number of visitors from far and near. Adlaj is about 5 km from Gandhinagar and 19 km from Ahmedabad.
