Established in 1980, the Adhichunchanagiri Institute of Technology is affiliated to the
Visveswaraiah Technological University. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering are among the subjects taught. The Institute has a well equipped library consisting of technical books, periodicals and other publications. Hostel facilities are also available for boys and girls.
