Abhinandan Nath is the fourth
tirthankar among the 24 Jain tirthankars. He was born on the second day of the bright half of the month of Magh in
Ayodhya. Samvar and Siddhartha, the king and queen of Ayodhya, were his parents.
Succeeding his father, Abhinandan Nath became the king of Ayodhya. After a long and peaceful reign, he became an ascetic. Abhinandan Prabhu attained Nirvana on the eighth day of the bright half of the month of Vaishakah at Samet Sikhar (Mount Parasnath). Lord Abhinandan Nath's emblem is the monkey.
