Abdur Razzaque Ansari Memorial Weavers' Hospital




Abdur Razzaque Ansari Memorial Weavers' Hospital is a 120 bedded multi-specialty hospital situated at Irba in Ranchi District of Jharkhand. It is about 16 km from Ranchi.

The hospital was formed in 1996 by the linkage of Apollo Group of Hospitals with the Regional Handloom Weavers' Cooperative Union. It has been built in memory of late Haji Abdur Razzaque Ansari, who was the prophet of the Weavers' cooperative.

The hospital specializes in neuro-surgery, endo-urology, plastic surgery, open heart surgery, coronary bypass operation and valve replacement surjery. It has an intensive therapy unit, where post-operatively patients are managed. Dialysis and scanning facilities are available.

In addition to providing discounted service to the rural poor, the hospital gives 100% free treatment to Weavers of this region.
