Aastha




Aastha is a village at a distance of 50 km from Osmanabad in Maharashtra. Popularly known as Kasaar Aster, this village is one of the major centers of the Jains. Main attraction is an old Jain temple dedicated to Bhagwan Parshwanatha, considered the guardian deity of the village. It is believed that a devotee doing penance at this temple would free himself of all the sins. By road, Sholapur is about 65 km from here. The nearest airport is Aurangabad Airport.
