A S R College of Engineering was established in 1998 by the A S R Educational Society, Pydiparru. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University,
Hyderabad. B Tech courses in mechanical, information technology, computer science, electronics and communication and electrical and electronics are offered. There is a well equipped library with over 7,000 volumes. Hostel facilities are available for boys and girls separately.
