A P Folk-Tribal Cultural Association is located at Saidabad in
Hyderabad. It was established in 1997 and recognized by the Indian Government's
South Zone Cultural Center in
Thanjavur. The center offers free coaching classes in tribal and folk dances to school and college students.
The professional artists of the association have been performing dances such as such as Lambadi, Koya dance, Mathuri, Dhimsa and Kolatam in various locations. Their main productions are a ballet called 'Glimpses of Hyderabad' and another ballet, 'Swami Vivekananda,' in Kuchipudi style.
