Established in 1967, A M Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College in Belgaum is managed by the People’s Education Society and Trust. Spread over an area of 6 acres on the northern end of the Pune - Bangalore road, the hospital can be easily accessed by road.
The college is an important center for medical education and clinical training in the Homoeopathic System of Medicine. It offers Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Post-Graduate in Homoeopathy and Certificate course in Nursing. Separate hostel facility is available for boys and girls. Library, Auditorium, Open Air Theatre, Bank Extension Counter, STD telephone booth and canteen are available with the campus premises.
The hospital has 125 beds and competent staff providing the finest medical facility to the patients. Specialized treatments are offered in ophthalmology, dentistry, ENT, ANC, obstetrics, gynecology and pediatric departments. Most modern facilities such as USG, radiology, endoscopy, ECG, physiotherapy and ICCU are available.
