Sukhia Pokhri




Sukhia Pokhri, lying in between the Namthing Pokhri and Latpanchar, is a place of tourist importance in Darjeeling District of West Bengal. It is about 7 km from Lepchajagat. It is one of the official Indo-Nepal border crossing points.

Sukhia Pokhri is in the center of Jorepokhri Salamander Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a famous place for trekking enthusiast. Maneybhanjan is a nearby tourist place.

Sukhia Pokhri can be easily approached from Ghoom as well as from Siliguri. Ghoom Railway Station is the nearest railhead. The closest airport is at Bagdogra.
