Shridhara Temple




Shridhara Temple, a 19th century shrine in West Bengal, lies to the north-west of Madan-Mohan temple at Bishnupur. The temple features nine spires - known as navratna - and has beautiful carvings on the walls. The dancing image of Lord Shiva at the entrance of the temple is a fine example of Bengal's rich sculptural heritage. The nearest railway station is Bankura Railway Station and the nearest airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport.
