Santaldih Railway Station, also spelt Santaldihi Railway Station, falls on the Baghmara-Rukni rail route. Suvarna Rekha Express and Bokaro-Howrah Passenger are the main trains that pass through this station.
The station is under the administrative control of the South Eastern Railways. Rukni Railway Station is situated to the south-east of Santaldih.
