Piardoba




Piardoba is located in Bankura District of West Bengal, about 15 km south of Bishnupur. The town is near the border of Midnapore District. To the west of Piardoba is Panchmura, one of the principal centers of Bankura pottery. Nohari, Baital, Taldangra and Jaypur are other towns nearby.

The major tourist destinations around the town are Madan-Mohan temple, Shridhara Temple, Siddheswar Temple, Jor Bangla Temple, Radha-Shyam Temple, Jogesh Chandra Archeological Center, Shyam Rai Temple and Ras Mancha.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Piardoba Railway Station serve this region.
