Raiganj Bird Sanctuary lies along the
National Highway 34
, on the banks of the Kulik River, in North Dinajpur District
of West Bengal
. This sanctuary extends over 35 acres and is home to a number of migratory birds including open-billed storks, knight herons, egrets and cormorants and indigenous birds.
October to March is ideal to visit the sanctuary.
Raiganj Railway Station serves as the nearest railhead.
