Panchthupi




Panchthupi is an old village positioned 15 km south of Kanti in Murshidabad. In the heart of the village lies Panchayatan or Nabaratna Shiva temple with a unique architectural style. There are the ruins of a Buddhist Vihara called Barokonar Deul, which dates back to the Pala Dynasty. The Jor-Bangla Shyamsundar Temple and the Singhavihani Temple are also worth visiting.
